LEGAL PREPARATION
How we prepare the case
We assemble the family petition, adjustment application and eligible related forms as a coordinated package, then prepare the applicant for the USCIS interview.
We explain the filing plan and any case-specific concerns before the representation begins.
FLAT-FEE SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS
What is included and what costs extra
One standard family-based Form I-130 petition and principal Form I-485 adjustment of status. Includes Form I-864 when applicable. The flat attorney fee includes ordinary related adjustment forms, including Form I-765 (work authorization) and Form I-131 (advance parole) when applicable and eligible, with no extra attorney charge; ordinary supporting documents, USCIS filing, routine monitoring, and USCIS interview preparation. Each additional eligible applicant in the covered family- or employment-based green card matter: $1,000 in attorney fees. Any separate underlying petitions are evaluated individually. Optional in-person attorney attendance at a USCIS adjustment interview, if requested and available: $1,500 additional attorney fee. Government fees, medical exams, translations, travel, and other third-party costs are separate. RFE and NOID responses related to the covered matter are included at no additional attorney fee. Independent waivers, unrelated applications, motions and appeals are excluded.
The signed representation agreement controls the exact scope. Government fees and outside costs, where applicable, are not included unless expressly stated.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Before we begin
Are government filing fees included in the price?
No. The displayed amount is the attorney fee. USCIS, consular, medical, translation and other third-party charges, when applicable, are separate unless the specific scope expressly says otherwise.
Will you charge an extra attorney fee if USCIS sends an RFE or NOID?
No additional attorney fee is charged for RFE or NOID responses arising within a Green Chavez matter already covered by a flat-fee representation agreement. The separately priced RFE and NOID services are only for new clients with applications filed independently or by another firm.
How do I find out whether my case fits this standard fee?
Contact our office for a case-specific eligibility and scope review. If your situation falls outside the listed service, we will explain the additional work and fees in writing before you hire us.
