IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICE
Family-based consular processing, complete representation
For families pursuing an immigrant visa abroad, whether you need the full I-130 petition and consular process ($4,800 in attorney fees) or consular processing after an approved I-130 ($3,800). These are the same attorney fees as comparable family-based adjustment cases; agency fees differ.

STARTING YOUR CASE
What this service involves
We begin by reviewing your immigration history, eligibility, documents and goals. This helps us determine whether the standard service described here fits your situation and what evidence will be needed.

LEGAL PREPARATION
How we prepare the case
We prepare the family petition if needed, organize NVC and consular documentation, coordinate submission steps and prepare the applicant for the consular interview.
We explain the filing plan and any case-specific concerns before the representation begins.
FLAT-FEE SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS
What is included and what costs extra
Attorney fees match the corresponding family-based adjustment-of-status package. $4,800 covers one standard family Form I-130 petition and consular immigrant visa processing for the principal applicant; if the Form I-130 is already approved, the attorney fee for the remaining consular process is $3,800. Includes ordinary National Visa Center (NVC) and consular submissions, supporting documentation and consular interview preparation. Each additional eligible applicant in the covered consular case is $1,000 in attorney fees; any required separate underlying petition is evaluated individually. Government charges differ by processing route and are separate, including applicable USCIS petition fees, Department of State/NVC immigrant visa fees and USCIS immigrant fees, plus medical examinations, translations, travel and third-party costs. RFE and NOID responses related to the covered matter are included at no additional attorney fee. Independent waivers, unrelated matters, motions and appeals are excluded. Forms I-765 and I-131 are adjustment-related benefits and are not part of ordinary consular immigrant visa processing; in-person attorney attendance at a consular interview is not included.
The signed representation agreement controls the exact scope. Government fees and outside costs, where applicable, are not included unless expressly stated.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Before we begin
Do consular cases have higher attorney fees than adjustment cases?
No. We charge the same attorney fee for a comparable case stage whether the process is adjustment of status or consular. For family cases, the fee is $4,800 including a new I-130 petition, or $3,800 after an approved I-130. For employment cases after an approved I-140, the fee is $3,800. Government agency charges and required application steps can differ.
Are government filing fees included in the price?
No. The displayed amount is the attorney fee. USCIS, consular, medical, translation and other third-party charges, when applicable, are separate unless the specific scope expressly says otherwise.
Will you charge an extra attorney fee if USCIS sends an RFE or NOID?
No additional attorney fee is charged for RFE or NOID responses arising within a Green Chavez matter already covered by a flat-fee representation agreement. The separately priced RFE and NOID services are only for new clients with applications filed independently or by another firm.
How do I find out whether my case fits this standard fee?
