Consultations

Is the initial consultation really free?
Yes. Initial consultations are free and available by appointment. The consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your general situation and determine whether the firm may be able to assist.
Do you represent clients outside Texas?
Yes. Green Chavez Law Firm is fully virtual and serves clients across the United States and internationally in matters involving U.S. immigration law. Attorney Jeff Green is licensed in California.
Can we meet without visiting an office?
Yes. Consultations and case work are conducted remotely using phone, video, email, and secure document-sharing channels.

Fees & process

Do you charge flat attorney fees?
The firm offers established fees for many services. The specific attorney fee, government fees, and possible additional costs are explained before you retain the firm.
Are payment arrangements available?
Payment arrangements may be available for qualifying matters. The terms depend on the representation and are discussed during the consultation.
Does contacting the firm mean you are my attorney?
No. An attorney-client relationship begins only after the firm agrees to represent you, applicable conflict checks are completed, and a written engagement agreement is accepted.

Cases & documents

What should I prepare before a consultation?
A brief timeline of your immigration history and any upcoming notices or deadlines can be helpful. Do not submit confidential records or identity numbers through the public contact form.
Can you guarantee approval of my application?
No attorney can responsibly guarantee an immigration result. We can explain requirements, risks, and strategies based on your case.
What if I have an immigration court hearing or filing deadline?
Tell us immediately when contacting the office, including the date and agency. A website inquiry does not extend or preserve any legal deadline.
