HOW WE CAN HELP

Employment immigration

Selected TN, E-2, EB-1 and EB-2 NIW matters, plus green card adjustment or consular processing after an approved I-140.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR OPTIONS

A clearer way forward.

Green Chavez Law Firm offers a selected range of U.S. employment- and investment-related immigration services: TN professional admission, initial E-2 treaty investor visas, EB-1A extraordinary ability, EB-1B outstanding professors and researchers, EB-1C multinational managers and executives, and EB-2 National Interest Waivers. Each classification has distinct eligibility, sponsorship, and evidentiary requirements. We also handle stand-alone employment-based Form I-485 adjustment of status and consular immigrant visa processing after approval of Form I-140, with separate flat fees for principal and derivative applicants.

MATTERS WE HANDLE

  • EB-1B outstanding professor / researcher I-140 petitions
  • EB-1C multinational executive / manager I-140 petitions

HOW WE HELP

Thoughtful preparation. Individual attention.

We evaluate eligibility, prepare a personalized evidence strategy, review employer or investment documents when required, and develop a clear filing plan. EB-1B and EB-1C generally involve qualifying U.S. employer petitioners; EB-1A and EB-2 NIW may allow self-petitioning. E-2 eligibility depends on treaty nationality and a qualifying at-risk business investment. For an approved I-140, we can separately handle qualifying adjustment of status or consular processing, with applicable forms, records and government fees reviewed for each applicant. Our adjustment of status flat fees include eligible Form I-765 and I-131 filings, USCIS interview preparation and related RFE/NOID responses. An additional eligible applicant is $1,000; optional in-person attorney attendance at a USCIS adjustment interview is $1,500 extra, subject to availability.

FAQ

Questions worth asking.

Every situation is different. These answers are general information, not a substitute for individual legal advice.

FAQs
Does EB-1B or EB-1C require an employer petitioner?
Yes. Unlike EB-1A and most NIW cases, EB-1B and EB-1C are employer-sponsored immigrant classifications and have separate legal requirements.
Does every investor qualify for an E-2 visa?
No. Treaty nationality, ownership or control of an operating enterprise, the nature and amount of invested capital, and other eligibility requirements all matter. An E-2 is a temporary classification, not a green card.
